Generation Y does not give up

From time to time, society researchers form a name for the next generation, in which they recognize some unique characteristics. This time we are dealing with the generation Y.

With this name are called people born between 1980-1990. Although it is not a censorship that is important here, but the attitude to life. It is the perception of community views and attitudes that incline sociologists to connect the generations and give them unique names. In case of generation Y, you can say that terminology job is done rather by recruiters. This happened because the criterion here was the attitude towards work.

Young people from generation Y rebelled against the omnipotence of their career. For them, work is no longer a goal but a mean. They want to get paid well, and even very well, in order to spend earned money for a nice life. What’s more – the want to have those nice moments as often as possible, so are not willing to spend too much time at work. For employers, this means a disaster: a worker who avoids working overtime, and requires a good salary.

But training specialists have already figured out how to transform a defect into advantage. The main advantages of generation Y are creativity and the ability to think outside the box. They are free spirits, however, thay tend to have passions. So if they perform work that absorbs, then everything is in order. In this case, they show superiority over previous generations, that are more entangled in oldfashion standards of thinking.
